Another Castle

Sword and Sorcery games have always been a favorite genre of mine in anything. There are many out there that have been memorable over the past couple years such as Dragon Age: Origins, Eternal Sonata, and the game that made dragons cool again, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

But a few months after the release of Skyrim, there was another Sword & Sorcery game that came out under the radar on May 22, 2012: Dragon’s Dogma.

Developed and published by Capcom, Dragon’s Dogma is an action role-playing game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The director of the game, Hideaki Itsuno, is also the director of Devil May Cry 2, Resident Evil: Outbreak, and Devil May Cry 3 & 4. Needless to say, he improved over the years, which Dragon’s Dogma is proof of that.
